  1. I'm not seeing my name in the results. Does it take extra time for all names to result? I saved the file in Zwift as "Zwift date - ZTR (C)"

    1. These results are pulled directly from the game, so they use your in-game name rather than the file name. Can you tell me what name you had set during the race? If you add ZTR (C) to your last name, this will let the script automatically pick you up.

  2. During race I used C Smith ZTR (D). Straight away it was obvious I should have been in the C race, so I saved file name with (C) instead of (D). After I logged out, I went to Zwift. Com and changed my name to ZTR (C) for next race. So, to repeat my answer to your question, in race I used C Smith ZTR (C).

  3. I meant I raced under name "C Smith ZTR (D)" !!! Apologies.

    1. Hmm, I can't seem to find you on Strava or in my logs. Can you link your Strava activity and/or give me your Zwift ID? Your Zwift ID can be determined by looking in your Documents/Zwift/cp folder. There should be a folder called userXXXX there, where XXXX is your Zwift ID.

    2. Christian, thank you for your help with this. My Zwift ID is 113263. Just checked Zwift and the ride is definitely there. According to the info above, I was 4th place with the C group, roughly 2 seconds behind third place. The ride is definitely saved in Zwift.

    3. Ok, I found you in the logger. The logger didn't see you pass the end of the neutral for some reason. Can you link your Strava activity so I can compare? According to the logs, you did finish exactly 2 seconds after Jack Mentink, for what it's worth.

    4. I don't have a Strava link. I have the file uploaded to Garmin Connect. Will that work? Or do I need to create a Strava account and upload the file to it?

    5. I went ahead and created a Strava account. Here is a link to the Strava activity. https://www.strava.com/activities/520482877

  5. Hate to keep bothering you, but did you get my message above with my Strava link?

    1. Sorry - I meant to let you know that I did. The problem is that if the logger doesn't catch you crossing the start line it can't calculate your placing. If you rename your ride to add ZTR (C) to the name on Strava, you will at least be represented in the zwiftnation.com results.

Did you have any network glitches at all when riding? This is the first time I've seen someone disappear mid-ride like this.

    2. No. There were no glitches at all. This totally sucks. Rode myself till totally empty, for no good reason. This sucks. So even though you can clearly see my Strava file, and start time, and that I was two seconds off third place, there is no way to be added to the results? Wow man. That's pretty sh*try.

  6. I'm really sorry about that. I run these races on my own time and with tools that are hacked together since Zwift doesn't have built in race support. Sometimes things go wrong and I can't fix every problem.

Frankly your response doesn't make me feel very rewarded for the work I put in to make these happen.

That said, this is just one race. Try again and you will likely be in the results. Or try a KISS race or an ODZ race if you're pissed off at me. Those guys also run good races.

  7. Apologies. I've re-read my last reply to you and I can see how it came across as unappreciative and even whiney. That's not at all how it was intended and I'm not at all "pissed off" at you. I'm not the best with conveying "tone" purely from text; I'm afraid I may never master that skill. I understand what's happened is a system glitch and not within your control. My irritation wasn't intended to be directed *at* you. I also knew the work involved is something you do in free time - and THANK YOU. I very much enjoy the ZTR races and the rapid posting of results is an added bonus. Anyway, I think you misread the tone/intent of my last reply, and that's my fault for poor wording/sentence structure/tone/whatever. I'll be more careful in the future. - Chris
